^{^ToC} 1 From Stahnsdorf Grave Yards to Steinstücken

Exactly between the two grave yards "Waldfriedhof Wilmersdorf" and "Südwestkirchhof", there is a way which leads through "Parforce Heide" to "Steinstücken".

I intended to walk simply straight on, but on the way back to take a detour to the north, crossing the canal twice.

It was lovely weather, brillant light, and here are the results:

The path is called "Alte Potsdamer Landstraße", and the pavement seems to be still original, but I couldn't find real information about it:

Going always straight on, you reach Bernhard-Beyer-Straße. This is the former corridor leading to Steinstücken. In Mauer-Times there were quite isolated, BUT they could cross the railway and come from one part of the village to the other, which is NOT POSSIBLE nowadays! So everything has its draw-backs!

Next day we visited the new Brandenburg Parliament. The "Landtag" is a contemporary building with an ancient façade.
